This is a key role in the finance team responsible for all areas relating financial and management reporting. This position will also be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information


  • Collect, interpret and review financial information
  • Conduct day-to-day activities of the finance function
  • Develop strategies to minimise financial risk
  • Put in place appropriate policies, procedures and controls on operations, reporting and various accounting cycles
  • Involvement in month-end reporting which would involve reconciliation, journal posting, consolidation and compilation of financial reports
  • Perform ad-hoc projects e.g. transfer pricing, reorganisation, company event planning, budgeting, revenue/cost analysis, unlisted investment valuation, license application and financial audit.

Required skills and qualifications

  • At least 7 years’ experience in the accounting field
  • A degree, with CPA
  • Experience in the banking fields will be a plus
  • An analytical mind
  • Project management skill
  • Good at numbers
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships
  • Commercial and business awareness
  • Good communication skills – both written and verbal
  • A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data
  • Ability to stick to time constraints
